Who doesn’t like Advent? It is a season of excitement and anticipation and joy. Can you believe there’s less than 20 days until Christmas? Our Candle-lighting service for the 2nd Sunday of Advent is all set for you to click the YouTube link below. Please share it with your family and friends. Today’s episode of our worship series, Company’s Coming is entitled The Cleanup Crew This is part 2 of our 5 ...part online service series which will culminate on Christmas Eve. We will not be hosting an in person service as we have in the past in order to keep everyone safe. Even when we acknowledge that we aren’t ready for what is coming, for the realm that is promised, for the kingdom we hope for. We admit we have fallen short; we confess that we are wrapped up in ourselves and in things that don’t last; we admit that our watchful waiting has fallen by the wayside. And yet, in this season, there is joy. And we have a sense that we can start all over again, because "Company Is Coming." Remember, God loves you, and I love you too! We do not earn our faith any more than we earn our way to a party invitation. God clothes us with the blood of Jesus, allowing all to be accepted into His family. We can turn away and reject this gift, but we don’t have to do anything to receive it, other than believe it!
