Calling all kids! Join us for the 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat.

This week we are going to look at how we love our neighbors of other faith traditions, whether Christian or other religious groups.

This week we start a new series, Love your neighbor. Bishop Michael Curry said, "Jesus began the most revolutionary movement in all of human history, a movement grounded in the unconditional love of God for the world. A movement mandating people to live that love. And in so doing, to change not only their lives but the very life of the world itself. " Join us Sunday as we explore the second greatest commandment according to Jesus.

This week we conclude our series on The Power of Words by talking about the power of the Word made flesh.

This service is a little different than our normal services, video-wise. We had trouble with our video streaming platform, so the motion video doesn't actually start until about 28 minutes in. We did record the entire audio of the service, however, so I went back after the fact and added some stills and lyrics and such to it so it's not just a black screen. :-) We hope you can still feel blessed to listen to todays service!

This Sunday we continue to look at the power of words, and we tread the dangerous ground of religion and politics. This is an area of our life that we share with each other, yet it is convoluted, and an area that brings a great deal of pain. This week we are going to see if maybe there is a different way. Is there a more excellent way to do politics.

Good news. The yard signs are in and ready for you. Even if you did not pre-order you can still have one. Make arrangements with the pastor to pick one up or have one delivered to you. The cost is only $8.00 to make a positive, unifying message in our community. Let's show our support for our country and encourage others to join us in praying for it. Just imagine the impact on the community if all of us had this sign in our front yards.
