Ellen Klock our Niagara District Conference Representative reports that this year the Upper New York Conference Annual Meeting is at the Saratoga Springs UMC (175 5th Ave, Saratoga Springs, NY) beginning at 4:00 PM, with dinner at 6:00, on Friday, September 15th and ending on the afternoon of Saturday, September 16th. It's a little over a four hour drive, which is do-able, but there is still the need to book a hotel. I'd like to get groups together for carpooling and sharing ...the expense of lodging, so please get back to me. It would be nice to have a healthy contingent from our district to represent our "little" corner of the state. The Guest Speaker, Carol Van Gorp from National, is speaking to the theme "UMW in Today's World". Since there will be a leadership training session, District Officers who attend will have their mileage paid.
