Capman Hall, our boys dorm, has a couple new additions to its lobby to welcome students back 2nd semester! Dean Metcalf built a saltwater coral reef aquarium! Also, to add to a study area where students can do homework, Dean Metcalf put together this walnut wood table. Drink Up USA! As many of you know the water at the Academy has been less than desirable to drink over the years. To start the year on a healthy foot, we hired Caster Well Drilling and Water Conditioning to install a new water filtration system! They installed a RO (reverse osmosis) system that will not only filtrate the water, it tastes so much better! Now students and staff can use water bottles instead of the school buying bottled water. At this time we were able to on...ly install a system for the Ad Building, but we hope to secure funding to install water systems in both dorms.
