Rachel Tanchak, Design Engineer at Xerox and UR grad, is speaking this Wednesday, Sept. 18 from 4:40-6:00pm in Hoyt Auditorium for our Intro to Engineering Semi...nar (EAS 099)!* At Xerox, Rachel focuses on design of new products (and already has 13 patents pending). Rachel will be sharing her experiences and insights about doing research as an undergraduate, her study abroad experiences in Germany, transitioning from college to industry, and what life is like for a newly minted engineer. This will be an informal presentation with lots of time for discussion and questions. *While this course is for first-year or sophomore Hajim students, upperclassmen are welcome to attend a session!
