Once we receive your application we will share with our members and then the following meeting we vote on your membership. You can email to me at [email protected] or fax 716-656-7245. We at Upstate Kennel Club are local dog enthusiasts whose primary goal is to be a public service and educational resource for the community. Through educational training seminars or UKC Club events, we strive to promote responsible dog breeding and ownership, while enhancing the trusting bond between humans and their dogs. Periodically we need to remind ourselves and exhibitors of expected sportsmanlike behaviors while attending our events. Our goal is to offer a safe, enjoya...ble time at our events while discouraging negative behavior that could be perceived as disrespectful toward our members, our Judges and other exhibitors. This includes the use of social media as well. This will not be tolerated and anyone violating this will be asked to leave and not welcomed back. As we approach a new way to offer our shows we ask for your patience while we adhere to the CDC and New York State Covid Guidelines. We can guarantee we will do our best and ask the same from you as we all look forward to this weekend.

It is with deep regret and sadness that we have to announce the cancellation of the UpState Kennel Club 2020 November show weekend due to the Covid-19 outbreak (per NY state guidelines) ** all entry fees will be reimbursed, please contact us for more info ** Thank you to all of our committee members, judges and exhibitors for your patience and understanding during this extremely difficult time. ... We look forward to seeing you all at our May, August and November weekends in 2021! We will also plan on holding extra outdoor summer show weekends in the 2020 season to make up for this year! Despite the tireless efforts of our executive board in recent weeks, we have to unfortunately cancel our August 2020 UKC weekend in Elma, NY. Too many shifting variables that put our dog family at risk so it is best to just pause for now. We look forward to hopefully hosting our annual winter weekend of events in November. Fingers crossed In the meantime, stay safe everyone!

The board of the UpState Kennel Club will be making a decision July 1st concerning our August events in Elma, NY. We will do everything we can to hold our events as planned. See the attached for new suggested practices for UKC licensed clubs.
