Uranian Phalanstery

Richard Tyler, visionary founder of the Uranian Phalanstery, will be showing at Clayton Patterson's Gallery space on Essex along side other thought provoking artist, please come and show some love.

As this day fades into the next, I would like to post a picture of our founder, and his mother Gertrude. Richard Oviatt Tyler was the founder and visionary behind the Phalanstery. On this day, in 1983, he passed into the next realm and yet this work that he started continues to grow, in its 59th year of operation. He always believed that what remained were churches, vessels of the eternal. His, ours, is one that believes in the potency of art's ability to communicate life.

Part of the vision of the Phalanstery was to reflect an ecological ideal, understanding principles of sustainability.
