T H E U B W W A Y: Congratulations to our @JunebugNOLA family for becoming a recipient of #TheBlackSeed Initiative! #Repost @junebugnola ... At a time when the nation needs to hear our stories more than ever, we are beyond honored to be a recipient of the #TheBlackSeed initiative! The Black Seed, a national strategic initiative focused on creating impact and thrivability for Black theater institutions, is providing close to 100 Black theaters across the country with one- or two-year grants ranging from $10,000 to $150,000. This is the first iteration in a long-term strategy for the company. We are excited to be among such incredible organizations as we collectively build the new American theater. We have always and will always uplift Black stories because #BlackStoriesMatter, #BlackTheaterMatters, #BlackArtMatters, #BlackLivesMatter! #TheBlackSeed Check out the American Theatre Magazine article on The Black Seed with the link in [@JunebugNOLA’s] bio.

T H E U B W W A Y: Celebrating the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere. We are caught in an inescapable network of mutuality, tied in a single garment of destiny. Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Letter from Birmingham Jail, April 16, 1963.... We continue to uplift the power of dance to support social justice and our potential to use movement to build equity in our Movements. #theUBWway #UBWdance
