Grandmaster Joe Lewis was ahead of his time. He won every major accomplishment there was in the martial arts. After his fighting years, he produced more World-class and world champion fighters than anyone. He was a fantastic teacher and mentor to myself and others in the JLFS family. Let's keep that list growing!

To all students and families, Due to the health and safety of our students and staff, we will be CLOSING our school for regular classes and private lessons this week from Monday, March 16th, through Sunday, March 22nd. We will be open for regular classes beginning on Tuesday, March 24th. Be advised that we have had no reports of any virus in our school. We are doing this as an added safety of our community. As posted earlier we will undergo another deep cleaning while the sch...ool is closed to continue to have a safe and clean environment for all. We urge all students to continue to practice and train on their own and use this time to polish up your basics. All missed classes and private lessons can be made up when we resume. Hopefully, this will not take long to get under control, and we can resume normally. Stay safe and healthy, Bob Mauro Chief Instructor U.S. Karate Academy
