This past Wednesday the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 1038 spent an evening creating 52 toiletry bags for patients at the Hudson Valley Healthcare System - VA Montrose. A special thank you to Keller New York (Keller Williams NY Realty) and Joseph Iannibelli for donating all the toiletries used to fill the bags. Plus there was a team that made Legionnaire & ALA member Buddy Check bags which were delivered to their homes, filled with sweet treats, notes and information about all that our unit accomplished this year. Picture below includes members Barbara, Laurie, Irene, Cathy, Lois, Alison, Alice and Annabelle. Missing are Lisa, Lauren, JoAnn and Emmy.

The American Legion Auxiliary Adolph Pfister Unit 1038 is so proud of these students! Their artwork was outstanding. They are now competing at the American Legion Auxiliary Department of New York level and we wish them good luck!
