Just wanted to give everyone an update on everything that’s going on. Have been doing physical therapy for the last few weeks and it helps when I’m there. When I get home and the days that I don’t have therapy there still is a good amount of discomfort. Even with the stretches they gave me to do at home, icing, and medication I’m on. I also just went in for a cortizon shot yesterday and after the shot I had more discomfort than going in. They told me it could take 2-3 days for the steroids to kick in. I have a follow up with my doctors in six weeks. If before then I am already starting to feel better I will slowly start working on coming back. I will keep you updated on the progress and hope to be back soon!!

So I’m still dealing with a lot of pains in my lower back. I will be attempting to make cheesecake for anyone who would like to order for any occasion. If you’re interested just message the shop for details!

It’s been awhile since I have updated everyone on what’s going on. I had an MRI done on my back last week and I received the results of the exam. I have herniated discs in my L3-L4 discs which have bulged to the point that they are pinching on nerves that go to the right lower side of my body. I also have bulging discs in my L4-L5 and L5-S1 discs, but not enough to the point that they are hitting any nerves. On top of that I have degenerative disc disease on those discs. I wi...ll have to participate in physical therapy and receive a steroid injection, if these don’t work within a couple of months the doctor said we might have to go down the surgery route. I want to thank everyone that has put me in your prayers. I wish wasn’t going through this pain so I could be out there to provide all of you delicious food and bring joy to the community. For the last 10 years I have battling a chronic back issue and for the last week the pain has been near unbearable. Some parts of the day has been worse than others, but I have tried to work through it and did not want to make it visible to my customers. Today I could not take the pain anymore and went to get it checked out. With recommendations from the doctor and fear of causing more unnecessary pain to myself I will be taking time off from the shop to finally have this taken care of once and for all. I do not know when I will be opening back up, but I will keep everyone updated as regularly as possible. I appreciate each and everyone of you that has supported me in my first near year of being open. I ask for your prayers and hopefully we will be back as soon as possible!
