Don’t miss the last two days to see Scot Borofsky’s work as well as our group show Bullshit! Scot Borofsky is a classically trained artist who became the most visible street artist in the East Village in the 1980’s. Borofsky references graphic symbols and lines used in the earliest pre-Columbian art in combination with the use of ancient artistic motifs and figurative designs. Borofsky’s collage, Sugar Baby, includes the imagery of the skull, as Borofsky puts it, through... a prism of drawing styles in a multitude of media- figurative studies. Tap the link in bio to read and see more, and to schedule your visit to our group show Bullshit through Nov.15th, 2020! Bullshit features fusionist works by Shalom Neuman, drawings by Noah Becker and Dale Williams, mixed media paintings by Dee Dee, mixed media street artworks by Al Diaz in collaboration with Jilly Ballistic; Photo Collage by Thomas Clark featuring painting by Gianni Lee; original cut metal sculptures by Bob Dombrowski from 1985; and mixed media collages by Scot Borofsky.

(2020) Using an alphabet of letters created from collaged Wet Paint MTA signage, Diaz responds directly to the current political climate and our leaders’ mishandling of the coronavirus pandemic. Directly underneath, in conversation with Al Diaz’s text, Jilly Ballistic’s wheat pasted apocalypti...c figure in a full body fallout shelter suit further emphasizes the paranoia of our current situation.
