Dan comes to Vanner with 10 years in the insurance industry and has experience handling commercial property & casualty insurance. He is on the Board of Directors for the local chapter of the Independent Insurance Agents of America, known locally as Big I WNY. A lifelong Buffalo resident, Dan grew up in East Aurora and now lives in the west side of the city after falling in love with the neighborhood during his time at Canisius High School and Canisius College. In his free time, Dan enjoys getting on his bicycle for a ride to check out the newest local restaurant or coffee shop.

Maureen has several years experience as a Human Resource professional, and Benefits Manager. Most recently, she was in charge of administering employee benefits programs for a realty company, handling benefits for over 1,000 employees.

#Vannerinsurance #BoaterSafetyCourse By 2025, all power boat operators in the state will be required to have a boater safety course under their belt or face a possible fine.... The legislation was signed into law last summer and took effect Jan. 1. Prior passage of this law, only boaters born after May 1, 1996 were required to complete a boater safety course. The new law expands that requirement. Under the 5-year phase-in plan that begins this year, all motor boat operators born on or after Jan. 1, 1993 must complete the safety course. Those born on or after Jan. 1, 1988 must complete a safety course beginning in 2022. Those born on and after Jan. 1, 1983 must complete a safety course beginning in 2023. Those born on or after Jan. 1, 1978 must complete a safety course beginning in 2025. By 2025, all motor boat operators must have taken a boater safety course, regardless of age. Failure to do so could result in a fine between $100 and $250, depending on the circumstances.
