Vanrensselaer & Son Funeral Home 13.07.2021

Eleanor (Lynn) Lopez, now resting peacefully in heaven with her beloved dogs, passed away on February 28, 2021. She was born in the Queens borough of New York City, along with her twin brother William Jr., on December 26, 1942, to the late William and Eleanor (Schmidt) Hoffman. Lynn is preceded in death by her brother William Jr. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Dougherty and his wife Valerie, and her stepson Shaun Lopez; three grandchildren, Cassie DeVries, Logan Doughe...rty, and Patrick Hathaway; three great grandchildren, Savannah DeVries, Rebecca Sue Dougherty, and Bain Hathaway. Lynn is also survived by many cousins and nieces from upstate New York and NYC. A memorial service will be held for Lynn at 3:00 PM (June 12, 2021) at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Randolph, NY where she will be laid to rest near her parents in the Randolph Cemetery. Lynn attended Andrew Jackson High School of St. Albans, NY and Atlantic Union College, South Lancaster, MA, and then graduated Magna Cum Laude from LaSalle University with a Master of Science in management. Early in her career, Lynn was an executive administrative assistant for the prominent company Levitt and Sons of New England, and then as an accountant for most of her working years. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist church and had strong convictions in their teachings. Lynn was married briefly to Fred John Dougherty and later, to Theodore Lopez, a minister in the SDA church. While married to Mr. Lopez, she gained a love for breeding and training dogs. As an AKC registered breeder, she had many prize-winning Rottweiler show dogs. Lynn loved her dogs and devoted her later years to spending time with them. Frewsburg - Thomas Paul Arrance, 66, of, East Meadow Lane, Frewsburg, formerly a longtime resident of Falconer, passed away, Sunday, January 10, 2021 at UPMC Chautauqua Hospital. He was born November 22, 1954 in Jamestown the son of the late James Fred and Marjorie Joyce (Carlson) Arrance. ... Tom was a 1972 graduate of Randolph Central School and retired from Cummins Engine in Ashville after 37 years of service in the purchasing and preventative maintenance department. He was a member of the Jamestown Coin Club and enjoyed coin collecting, woodworking. He also loved his pets and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Joyce R. Gullotti Arrance, whom he married on November 6, 1976 at St. John’s Catholic Church in Jamestown, a son, Jonathan Arrance and wife Keven of Raleigh, NC, two daughters, Sarah Carlson and husband Matthew of Falconer and Rachael Hasson and husband Ronald Jr. of Frewsburg, and two great-grandsons, Alexander James Hasson and Paul E. Marjorie L. Hulings, 86, of Spring Street in Randolph, passed away Tuesday (January 5, 2021) at Heritage Village Rehab and Skilled Nursing in Gerry. She was born December 5, 1934 in Kane, Pa., the daughter of the late William and Martha (Saff) Kridler. She attended Kane High School and was a Home Maker in Randolph. Earlier on she had worked for the former National Worsted Mills in Falconer. Marj attended the Kabob Tabernacle Church in Sinclairville, was the past preside...nt of weight watchers in Randolph. She enjoyed cooking, watching soap operas and spending time with her family. She is survived by a daughter; Laurie Lesmeister of Jamestown, two sons, Ray Hulings Jr. of Randolph and Scott Hulings of Westfield, seven grandchildren, Luis and Raylin Acebedo, William Robertson, Jaiden Davis, Cyrus Davis, Exander Davis and Amara Davis and three siblings, Robert, Darlene and Esther She was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Hulings Sr. in 1991, a son Jeff Hulings in 2006, a daughter, Sheryl Hulings Kelley in 2017 and a daughter in law, Annie Hulings Vaughn in 2018, a brother William and two sisters, Shirley and Judy. Kevin Leon Edel Jr., 24, formerly of Milaca, Minnesota and current resident of Ft. Myers, Florida passed away with his family at his side on Thursday November 19th at the Gulf Coast Medical Center in Ft. Myers, Florida. Kevin was born on July 15th 1996 in Olean, NY to Kevin and Amy (Collingwood) Edel. Kevin enlisted in the US. Army National Guard in 2014 when he turned age 17, and attended Basic Combat Training at FT. Leonard Wood, Missouri during the summer of 2014. Kevin gr...aduated from Milaca High School in 2015. Kevin loved to spend time with family and friends and enjoyed Bro’s night with the boy’s. He also enjoyed fishing, 4-H softball, bowling, playing pool, skiing, video gaming, family game night, and playing foosball with his dad. He enjoyed listening to music and of course making people laugh. Kevin fell in love with Ft. Myers beach, its beautiful sunsets, and listening to the live entertainment with his friends at Mango Rita’s. Kevin is lovingly survived by his mother and father, Amy and Kevin, his two sisters Erica and Cheyanna, his grandmother Rose Collingwood, aunts and uncles Donna and Dennis Burns, and Kathleen Collingwood Reed, cousins John Collingwood Jr., Anna (Collingwood) Armstrong, Emma and Alicia Timblin, Kaire (Burns) Zimmerman, Jeff Burns, Joseph Burns, Gina (Orlikowski) Rippentrop, Sean Orlikowski, Kacy (Orlikowski) Hendricks, and several great aunts and great uncles. Randolph - Nancy L. Slater, 81, formerly of Pope Road, Randolph, passed away Wednesday (December 30, 2020 at UPMC-Chautauqua Hospital. She was born June 26, 1939 in Jamestown, the daughter of the late Earl and Doris Smalley Meyer. She was a 1957 graduate of Randolph Central School. She and her late husband Alan, owned and operated their dairy farm in Randolph New York, and where named the New York State Dairy Farm of the Year Award in 1975, presented by the FFA. ... She was a member of the Cattaraugus County 4-H, Steamburg Milk Co-Operative and the former Randolph Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 2273. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by a daughter, Bonnie S. Slater, two sons; Alan J. AJ Slater and Tim Slater all of Randolph, 10 grandchildren, 11 Great-grandchildren, two sisters, Beverly (Chuck) Milliman of Randolph and Diane Ellis of Leon, as well as many Cousins, nieces and nephews. . Little Valley- Susan E. Evans, 64, of Rock City Street, Little Valley, passed away Saturday, (December 26, 2020) at home while under the care of Hospice and her husband Jimbo at her side. Susan was born February 27, 1956 in Steubenville, Ohio, the daughter of the late Wade William and Salley Lou (Robinson) Ringer Sr. She was a graduate of Wintersville High School in Wintersville, Ohio. Prior to retirement, she had worked for the United States Army, Civilian Services at ...Fort Benning, Georgia. She is survived by the love of her life, husband James Henry Evans, whom she married on June 10, 1978, a son, James W. Evans of Pittsburgh, two daughters, Jaime McConnaughy of Elm Grove, WV and Jessica Vaughn of Boiling Springs, SC, three grand-children, Krsjun James Gates, Kensleigh Elaine Vaughn and Karter Isabella Vaughn, as well as a brother Duke Wade William Ringer Jr. of Steubenville, Ohio. Norvale Martin-Gane, 91, of the Randolph Manor, formerly of Sinclairville, NY, passed away on Tuesday, (December 1, 2020) while under the care of Hospice. She was born February 23, 1929 in Cassadaga, NY, the daughter of the late Raymond and Mildred (Tibbetts) Lehnen. Norvale was a 1947 graduate of Cassadaga High School and was the former book keeper alongside her husband Howard at their Howard Martin Trucking Company. She had also waitressed at several local Restaurants.... She had additionally worked as a cook at Cassadaga Elementary School and at Lily Dale in the Campus Cafeteria. Norvale was a member of the Sinclairville 76ers, Sinclairville Senior Citizens, Sinclairville Library Board of Directors (Ways & Means Committee) and the Cassadaga Historical Society. Her hobbies and interest included, NYS Ladies Home Bureau, crafting, baking and gardening. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, as did they with her. Norvale always had coffee brewing or a glass of wine to share in her home for her many visitors and you could always hear a radio playing country music when you entered. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Randolph, NY- Leon C. Simpson, 55, of the Terrace Apartments, Randolph, passed away Thursday, (December 24, 2020) at UPMC-Chautauqua from complications of Covid-19. He was born December 13, 1965 in Brocton, NY, the son of the late Virginia (Quiggle) Simpson and the late Jerome (Brendalee) Simpson. Beloved brother of Merle Simpson, Richard Simpson, Mariva (Brad) Blex, Jerrylee Simpson, Barbara (Ken) Denton, Ken (Stacey) Simpson, Alan Simpson, Elaine Bush, John Arcadipane..., Heather (Robert) Harris, Rebecca (Thomas) Chaplin and Charles Simpson. In addition to his parents, Leon is predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Patrick, his grandparents, multiple aunts and uncles and a few special cousins, as well as his loyal companion, Shelly. Leon worked at Fieldbrook Farms for several years, up until 2009 when he suffered a life changing stroke. For 11 years thereafter, he persevered through the struggles. A long time attendee at Faith Bible Chapel, Leon loved to socialize with his friends Jerry and Cathy Whitcomb and Rhonda Ashdown. Leon was a one of a kind soul, if a little bit quirky. Always the first to offer help or open his door to a friend in need. Leon lit up the world around him. Frewsburg- Ronald Frank Parker, 77, of The Magnolia of Frewsburg, formerly of Jamestown Road, Town of Napoli, passed away Saturday (December 26, 2020) at the UPMC-Chautauqa Hospital in Jamestown. He was born December 23, 1943 in Jamestown, the son of the late Donald E. and Juanita M. (Anderson) Parker. Ron was a 1961 graduate of Randolph Central and had attended the Charlotte Technical School for Vertical EDM Machine. ... He was a retired dairy farmer, having owned and operated the former Shagbark P. Farm in Napoli. Ron had previously worked for the former Borden, Inc. in Randolph and Jamestown Tool & Die. His memberships included Ellington Community Church, Ellington Fire Department, where he served as a treasurer and fire commissioner. Cattaraugus County Cooperative extension, the former Steamburg Milk Cooperative, and he had served on the Town of Napoli Board. He enjoyed spending time with his family, spending time on the farm and raising Boxer dogs. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Penny W. White Parker, whom he married on June 27, 1964 in Ellington, two sons, Todd Parker and wife Edith of Randolph, Christopher Parker and wife Tracy of Jasper, NY, seven grandchildren, Gracin Parker, Easton Parker, Romyn Parker, Twins; Kayleigh and Kaleb Parker, Justin Higbee and Jordan Higbee. He is additionally survived by a brother, Tim (Barb) Parker of Conewango Valley, three sister, Norma (Greg) Swanson of Lakewood and NC, Donna (Carl) Kirschner of Kane, Pa., and Roxanne (John) Aucoin of Randolph, NY. Randolph- Niles E. Lincoln Sr., 96, of Crowley Street, Randolph, was taken home by the Lord on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at the Lutheran Home & Rehab in Jamestown. He was a born May 8, 1924 in the Gowanda, the son of the late Orlando W. and Lena May (Peters) Lincoln. Early on, his family moved to Cherry Creek, NY, where Niles attended school and graduated from the former Cherry Creek High School 1942 ... Niles was unable to serve in the Military due a ruptured eardrum, however, he performed valuable service by working at the ALCO in Dunkirk, thirteen years with the Erie Railroad, and Watson Manufacturing for 19 years until its closure. Niles retired in 1989 from the New York State Department of Transportation, serving as Supervisor at the Cattaraugus County Conewango field office. On October 24, 1946, Niles married the former Ethel A. (Shannon) in Cherry Creek, NY and together they celebrated over 70 years of marriage. She was preceded him on August 13, 2017. He is survived by two sons; Niles Lincoln Jr. and wife Carol Ann of Johnstown, NY, and Matthew Lincoln and wife Lori of Meadville, Pa., a brother, Ward Lincoln of Cherry Creek, NY, sister-in-law, Elaine (William) Zimmer of Schenectady, two grandsons, Nicholas and wife Jami of NC, Corey Lincoln and wife Andrea or Va., as well as many nieces and nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents and wife, Niles was preceded in death by his siblings, Howard, Clifford, Earl, Pauline, Phyllis, Alton, Adeline (Peggy), Jeanette, and Elaine. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all who lovingly cared for Niles at UPMC- Chautauqua in Jamestown, following successful back surgery on October 8, 2020, and his rehab that followed at the Lutheran Home, October 9th -22nd. The family would also like to thank, Niles many neighbors and friends for their many acts of love and kindness, especially, Russell Hayes, who helped him often after the loss of his wife Ethel. Cattaraugus - Terry James Miller, 64, of Glover Hill Road, Cattaraugus, Town of Napoli, passed away, Tuesday (October 20, 2020) at Brooks (TLC) Hospital in Dunkirk. He was born September 5, 1956 in Lockport, the son of the late Wilfred Henry and Alma Geraldine Miller. Terry was a 1974 graduate of Star Point Central School in Pendleton, New York. He also received an associated degree from Niagara Community College and a BA in Business Management from Buffalo State College.... Terry retired as a Civilian Teacher for the New State Department of Corrections at the Orleans Correctional Facility in Albion. He had also worked formerly for the Cornell Cooperative Extension. Terry was a member of the Pendleton United Methodist Church, life member of the Wendelville Fire Department. He was additionally very active for years with the Town of Pendleton and Niagara County Historical Society’s. Terry also was a 4-H leader and Boy Scout Leader in Niagara County. Over the past several years, post retirement, Terry lived among the Old Order Amish of the Conewango sect in the Town of Napoli, residing on the property of the Dan E.E. Miller Family, Terry enjoyed their culture and simple way of life. He also enjoyed the camping, history, genealogy and traveling and being outdoors. Terry is survived by a sister; Susan Jane Wendler, two brothers, Thomas Dudley Miller and Timothy Randolph Miller, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Melody Miller. As per Terrys wishes, visitation will not be observed. She was born March 15, 1960 in the town of Leon, the daughter of the late Isaac D. and Sloma E. Miller. She was a member of the Old Order Amish Church and was a self-employed quilter and Poultry Butcher. ... Fannie is survived by three brothers, Levi I. Miller, Eli I. Miller and Enos I. Miller, six sisters, Lizzie I. Mast, Tena I. Miller, Ada I. Miller, Anna I. Hostetler, Rachel I. Hostetler and Sloma I. Shetler. .Randolph - Cora Joyce Bedell, 4 month old daughter of Kyle Glen and Amy Renay (Maedl) Bedell of School Street, Randolph, passed away, Wednesday (October 14, 2020) at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. Cora was born on Friday, June 12, 2020 in Rochester, NY, There are some things that words can never properly say, things that never make any sense. Cora fought sooo very hard since the minute she was born. She fought through the nicu in Rochester, the cicu for reco...very after her two liver surgeries, and then all the way to Pittsburgh, where she fought through major heart surgery. There are soooo many things that a baby should not have to endure in her short 4 months that she seemingly handled with the grit, determination and with a stern eye, and especially every time a Doctor or nurse would come in her room. Cora spoke with her eyes, as she could not cry. Those big beautiful eyes that could stare into a person's soul. Cora was loved deeply by her family, friends and her God parents (Craig and Amy Bedell). In addition to her parents, Kyle & Amy, she is survived by a brother, Johnathan Ray Bedell, sister, Adalyn Jeanie Bedell, maternal grandparents; Raymond T. Maedl, Paternal grandparents; John C. and Joyce M. (Hulton) Bedell, maternal great grandparents; Raymond and Lori (Prenatt) Maedl Sr, Richard Faulkner and paternal great grandfather, Calvin C. Bedell, as well as many aunts, uncles and cousins. Cora was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Jeanie L. Randolph- Walter F. Nieman, 85, of Lebanon Road, Randolph, passed away at 2:01 AM, Wednesday (November 25, 2020) at home after an extended illness with his family by his side. He was born April 24, 1935 in the town of Hanover, the son of the late Ernest William and Grace Emily (Warner) Nieman. Walt was a graduate of Little Valley High School and a Veteran of the United States Army, serving in France. ... He retired from CH Colvin Transportation in Cherry Creek, NY after many years of service. In earlier years, he had worked for Boss Linco Transportation in Jamestown, the former Queensboro Milk Plant in Steamburg and on his family’s farm in Little Valley. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family, he also was an avid reader. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marlene E. (Lockwood) Nieman, whom he married on December 12, 1958 in the former Evangelical United Brethren Church in Steamburg, a daughter, Sharon (Tim) O’Neill, two sons, Larry (Monica) Nieman and Bryan Nieman, all of Randolph, four grandchildren, Kiel O’Neill, Emily (Robert) McVay, Sarah and Luke Nieman and Tres Sherman, all of Randolph, 4 great grandchildren and a sister, Edna Johnson of Little Valley. Kennedy - Vincent M. Vinny Boyd, 82, of Route 394, Kennedy, passed away, Tuesday (October 13, 2020) at home. He was born November 11, 1937 in Kennedy, the son of the late Marion C. and Lillian T. (Cobb) Boyd. ... Vinny was a 1956 graduate of Falconer Central School and retired in 2002 from the former Falconer Plate Glass after 45 years of service, where he served as shipping clerk. He was a member of the Kennedy United Methodist Church and Cardinal Hills Golf Course, where he played in the Barton Tool League for over 40 years, the Wednesday night Members League and the Monday morning league. He additionally was a member of the Chautauqua County Corvette Club. His interests Included golfing, spending time with family and friends, and coin collecting. Vinny is survived by two sons; Steven Boyd and wife Jane of Erie, Pennsylvania and Christopher Chris Boyd and wife Cheryl, of Ray City, Georgia, five grandchildren; Eric Boyd, Leann (Troy) Conquer, Ashley (Yenquis) Nolasko, Sara (Matt) Wilson and Aaron Boyd, as well as three great grandchildren. She was born January 19, 1932 in Salamanca, the daughter of the late Martin and Sophie Toresko Zbink. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic School in Salamanca and was a home maker and later worked for Fancher Chair and Furniture in Falconer. ... Theresa was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was an extraordinary homemaker and enjoyed reading books, gardening and the outdoors, bowling, sewing, bird watching, playing cards, bingo and trying her luck whenever she had the opportunity with the slots-keno mostly. She is survived by a son, Randy (Carol) Luce of Iowa, and their children, Randy Jr (Debbie) Luce of Randolph, Jeremy (Carrie) Luce of Florida, the late, Heather Ludovissy. Randolph- Ethelann Rose Abbott, 82, of Benson Road, Randolph, passed away, Wednesday (October 7, 2020) at UPMC-Chautauqua. She was born October 22, 1937 in Salamanca, N.Y., the daughter of the late Irving and Mildred (Davis) Evans Sr. ... Ethelann was a 1955 graduate of Salamanca High School and had attended Fredonia State College. In addition to being a home maker to her husband and four sons, she had Worked alongside her family in their endeavors over the years where they had owned and operated the Village Liquor Store, Abbotts Deli and Abbotts Catering, all in Randolph. Growing up in Salamanca, Ethelann attended the Salamanca Presbyterian Church. Following her marriage to Russell A. Abbott on May 16, 1959 in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Randolph. She became a communicant of the Catholic Church and for many years sang in the church choir and was a member of the Altar & Rosary Society. She was additionally a member of the Randolph American Legion Unit 181 Auxiliary, former Randolph Loyal Order of the Moose Lodge 2271 Auxiliary, Randolph Free Library and the Randolph Quilt Club. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, sewing, quilting, spending time with her family and playing the piano. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Russell A. Abbott, three sons; Samuel Peter Abbott II and wife Maureen of Endicott, N.Y., Russell Patrick Abbott of Norfolk, Va. and John Phillip Abbott of Randolph, four grandchildren; Sam Peter Abbott III and Brandon Michael Abbott, both of Kennedy, Bronson Timothy Abbott of Jamestown and Joelle DeJohn of Endicott, as well as a sister; Jane Evans of Rochester, and a niece Kim (Doug) Bliss of Great Valley. Kennedy - Jane M. Bailey, 82, of Bowen Road, Kennedy, entered her eternal home on Sunday (September 27, 2020) at home with her family at her side, after an extended illness. She was born April 9, 1938 in Wellsville, New York the daughter of the late Guy and Sarah (Miller) Russell. She attended Wellsville Central School and retired from Cummins Engine in Ashville after 20 years of service. She had previously worked at Truck-Lite in Falconer. ... Jane became a new born Christian in 1963, along with her husband Douglas, she has spent the past 58 years serving the Lord in various ministries, where she shared her faith and was a testimony of faith with her works. Jane was a member of the First Baptist Church in Randolph and had many years ago started a senior citizens group at Faith Bible Chapel in Randolph, known as YAH (Young at heart), she additionally taught Sunday school, led youth groups and senior Citizen’s groups over the years. Jane loved photography and taking pictures, she also liked doing crafts and going to craft shows with her daughter Barbara. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Douglas Leroy Bailey, whom she married on January 1, 1960 in the Little Valley Wesleyan Church, three daughters; Barbara (Rafael) Morales of Kennedy, Wendy Bailey of Colorado Springs, CO., Sarah (Gregory) Filegar of Cambridge, MD., four sons; Douglas (Yolanda) Bailey Jr., of Randolph, Wayne (Ramona) Bailey of Sherman, Philip (Jennifer) Bailey of Bisco, NC and Ronald (Sherril) Bailey of Warwick, RI, 16 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and a sister, Janet Scott of Texas. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Harold, John, Sam, Clyde, David, Cecil, James and sisters; Joanna Stone, Mary Chambers and Evelyn, of the siblings there were two sets of twins. Over the years, she had worked for various local places, including the former, Randolph Movie Theatre, Gallagher and Crandall Drug Store, Ben Franklin 5 & 10 Store, Hoitink Funeral Home and the Randolph Manor. She also Baby Sat throughout the years for local families. Her memberships included, St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church in Randolph, where she was a Lector and Eucharistic Minister, Randolph American Legion Unit 181 Auxiliary. Katy was an avid reader and writer, she enjoyed history and learning about various cultures and as she studied the Bible, she loved sharing her faith with others, and for many years she has let people know that we are all the Children of God. Randolph- Donna Lou Evans, 57, of Parker Hill Road, Randolph, passed away, Tuesday (September 8, 2020) at Olean General Hospital. She was born July 25, 1963 in Auburn, NY, the daughter of the late Donald L. Evans and M. Sheila McMahon Evans. Donna was a 1981 graduate of Randolph Central School, received her associates in Criminal Justice from Jamestown Community College where she played softball and volleyball. She then went on to receive her Bachelors from SUNY at Brock...port, where she excelled in Softball and also played Rugby. She was employed for the past several decades by Living Resources, Inc. in Yorktown Heights where she served as a Direct Support Professional for the Developmentally Disabled. Earlier on she worked for her stepfather Douglas Frink at Metallic Ladder Corporation in Randolph, NY. Donna had many interests, but none more than her love of animals (her late dog Jesse) and her family. Sports were a big part of her life, Donna loved the New York Yankees (yep Skud and Casey, the YANKEES) the Buffalo Bills and Sabres, and her beloved Syracuse Orangeman. She also enjoyed golfing and she had played recreational softball for many years for Mr. B’s in Jamestown. Donna had recently moved back into the area due to her health and was lovingly cared for by her brother Mark Evans and wife Tammy in their home in Randolph and her brother Michael P. (Denise) Evans of Randolph. She is additionally survived by two sisters; Kathleen (Rich) Leahy of Clovis, CA, and Ellen Evans (Mike Routhier) of Bristol, CT. and step siblings, Kirk (Elise) Frink, Kim (Heather) Frink, Kris (Shanen) Frink, Cindy (Doug) Johnson, Susan (Arnold) England and many dear cousins, and close friends. Donna’s greatest joy was her nieces and nephews, Ryan and Adam Leahy, Alexandra Evans-Waclawski, Carlye Evans, Makenzie Evans, Matthew Evans, Marcus Evans and Kristina Lewis, one great niece, Annin Leahy and two great nephews, Toryn Leahy and Wells Waclawski, her Stepfather Douglas Frink and wife Jane of Dunkirk, NY and Arcadia, FL. He was born April 1, 1950 in Jamestown the son of the Donald H. and Betty Jane (Hanson) Schulz. He was a 1968 graduate of Randolph Central School, where excelled in wrestling and baseball. Floyd attended SUNY Buffalo State College for Liberal Arts. ... Growing up he worked for his parents on their Schulz Family Dairy Farm on Waterboro Hill Road in Kennedy, later he owned and operated Clear Creek Gravel Products. He was a member of the former Randolph Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 2271, Floyd enjoyed motor cycle riding, hiking, traveling south, attending music concerts and festivals, and spending time with his nieces, family and friends. He is survived by two brothers, Donald (Sandra) Schulz of Erie, PA; Jeffrey (Annie McKay) Schulz, of Kennedy; his uncle; Fletcher W.(Trudy) Schulz of Kennedy; four Nieces: Lisa (Jesse) Stiles, Amy Schulz, Laura (Nick) Kunik, all of Erie, Pa., and Jessica Jane Schulz of Falconer, his ex-wife and caregiver, Paula Schulz of Randolph, a great nephew and three great nieces, as well as many dear cousins. He was born July 26, 1936 in Randolph, NY, the son of the late Herbert and Clara (Munney) Archer. Herb was a 1953 graduate of Randolph Central School and a 1962 graduate of the New York State Police Academy. After retiring from the New York State Police in 1982, he worked at Niagara Mohawk in Dunkirk, NY. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Gary Archer, on February 28, 2016, a brother Richard Archer, and a sister Patricia (Archer) Carlson. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, the former Nancy Burr, whom he married on February 11, 1955; a sister Bernice (Archer) Draudt of Dunkirk, NY; a daughter Cynthia Archer (Robert Barnhill) of Cardiff, CA; a son Greg (Ellie) of North Myrtle Beach, SC; a daughter Nanette (Chad) Skudlarek of Randolph; 9 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
