Good Afternoon Skiers and Snowboarders! The Victor Constant Ski Area is open. Although, the Chairlift is currently closed due to a signal loss in the Safety Loop System. Beginners Area ONLY at this time. We are working with our partners to make the necessary repairs as quickly as possible. Unfortunately this will take time for us to complete. Your safety is our number one priority. The Beginner Area is fully open and snowmaking operations are ongoing. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we work to resolve this critical safety issue. We will provide an update on Social Media and our Ski Hotline at 845-938-2475 when the issue is either repaired or 0800 30 January 2021, whichever is first. ~VCSA Staff

The uncertainty is based on a forecast that sadly keeps changing, however our snowmakers are ready when optimal temperatures permit us resuming snowmaking. It’s been a pretty tough week for us here at Victor Constant, but last night the VC snowmaking team took advantage of the cold weather to pile up some snow on most of the Bunny Hill area. Great work! We’ll share our new opening day plans as soon as they become clear. We look forward to seeing everyone soon!

Thinking of taking ski or snowboard lessons this season? Our Victor Constant Ski Area is here for you! Registration starts at 9am on Friday, December 11 for Military/DoD Card Holders and 9am on Friday, December 18 for the General Public for ages 7 and up. Due to COVID-19 restrictions we are unable to support Walk-On lessons, Ski Wee (age 5) and the Little Plebes (ages 4-6) ski programs for the 2020-21 season at the Victor Constant Ski Area. Instructing these programs requires extreme close contact of instructors and children throughout the entire lesson program. Our protection of the children along with our ski staff is extremely important to us and therefore we’ve decided to cancel such programs until next season. To register, visit victorconstantski.com. Just a friendly reminder to all customers - Despite the heavy snowfall projected this week (Dec 16/17), Victor Constant Ski Area remains closed until an official announcement from USAG / DFMWR is made to open the operation for patrons. The ski operation must groom the slopes for safety. Please do not attempt to climb the mountain to ski, snowboard, or sled while the operation is closed.
