Is it hard to be heard and have your SO (significant other) understand what you want or need from them? Try making the items actionable so they know exactly what you are asking for... Watch how much your need for things to be perfect or the way you like them may get in the way of your communication ... Praise your partner for what they are doing right. Appreciate their efforts, not the end product. Keep in mind that it’s hard to maintain a well balanced relationship all the time. As long as you’re not the only person doing the heavy lifting. #relationshipgoals #baegoals #lovelessons #lifegoals #marraigegoals #singlelife #realitycheck #4ways #selfcare #selfcontrol #needs #wants #demands #expectationsvsreality #therapycouchnyc

Getting stuck over something and wondering what to do?? Oftentimes, we get paralyzed by the fear of making a mistake not taking the best action... getting stuck in the what if’s... So ask yourself what’s the fear about for you? what’s the worst outcome that can happen Is it really THAT bad? Because life does go on even when we make choices that don’t land in the best way. Because making a small step is better than taking no step at all Because when you think about it, you really have nothing to loose Go out there and work your magic! Why is gratitude important?? All the research points to how it emerges as a form of self- acceptance & self-love. It’s not meant to minimize your pain... Or pretend you’re not hurting. It’s just choosing to see yourself and others differently.
