Please pass the word on to friends, family, colleagues or anyone you feel may be at a risk of falling for some of the following scams. Many may already know about some of these scams but recently our Community and Police Department is seeing many of the following. Unemployment benefits being falsely filed , PayPal requesting personal information as part of a security check, phone numbers being compromised and making random calls and fraudulent charges on banking accounts. Please be very cautious when asked for information and if you are unsure if you are possibly the victim of one of these scams please call one of our Officers and we can assist you.
