ALERT: Due to preparing to have Lock Street milled and paved correctly, please drive with caution during the current milling process on Lock Street. Milling will continue through Thursday by Oswego County Highway Department and then their paving crew will follow shortly after to prepare a correct driving surface. Current road conditions are very rough due to this process. Thank you for your cooperation during this process.
The Village DPW is working on a water main on south Main Street. They will be shutting down water pressure for a short time this evening around 4pm to get the issue resolved. Water pressure will return to normal within a hour. Sorry for any inconvenience.

Great opportunity for our kids!!
Let’s try to make Easter FUN for the kids this year...
Due to Covid-19 all Village Board Meetings have been canceled until further notice.
OSWEGO COUNTY UPDATE: The Governors' office has made an error in announcing that Oswego County has a confirmed case. It is Hastings on the Hudson. Not Hastings in Oswego County. So please be aware that as of right now Oswego County has NO confirmed cases of COVID 19.
In the spirit of the Village trying to do our part during this unchartered territory, we will be suspending any late charges on the next quarter’s utility (water, sewer & trash) bills. We will be extending our next due date by 30 days from the actual due date to assist with the current financial crisis situation. We will continue to assess the situation and try our best to keep our residents informed of any and all current events. Stay well everyone!
The Village of Phoenix will do our part insuring no child or senior goes hungry during this time of unchartered territory. The Village Hall (Sweet Memorial Building) located at 455 Main Street will be open at the State Street side entrance as a designated drop off location. This location is meant for non-perishable food items as well as toiletry and hygiene products. We will be working with the Phoenix Food Pantry and Erin’s Angels for our kids in our community and our exist...ing C.H.O.O.S.E. program for our seniors and elderly to facilitate delivery and assistance to those in need. Please drop off items in the entryway next to the Police Department door and our staff will take it from there. We thank you for always coming together as a very powerful village. Let’s do our part and stay socially distant, order takeout lunch & dinner from our local eateries when possible. And enjoy your family, pets and your home while we all wait to see what our next steps will be. Times are certainly tough, but together we will make this our finest hour. Be well everyone!
