Leaf Collection: The Village of Watkins Glen Streets department has begun leaf collection but will start full-force the week of November 9th. Residents are asked to place leaf piles in your yard near the curb. (between the sidewalk and the curb). Please DO NOT:... - place the leaves on or near a storm drain - place the leaves in the gutter or in the travel area of the street - mix in sticks and branches they can damage the vacuum system Please contact the Streets Department with any questions at (607) 535-6872 between the hours of 6:00am and 2:30pm. ODD/EVEN PARKING ALERT: Starting November 1st, 2020 through March 31st, 2021 ODD/EVEN parking is in effect every day from 12:00am - 6:00pm on all Village Streets east of Franklin Street. There is a grace period from 6:01pm - 11:59pm in which both sides of the street can be utilized for parking. This means that from 12:00am - 6:00pm on ODD numbered calendar days the ODD side of the street must be clear. On EVEN numbered calendar days the EVEN side of the street must be clear.
