To alleviate crippling financial burdens on small businesses, Todaro has proposed a $22 million relief plan for small businesses in Erie County that would award... $2 million to each of the 11 legislative districts. From online shopping options to better advertising, Bloomsbury Lane Toy Shoppe owner Crystal Newman said this funding would be helpful for her shop to adapt to the changing times.

In the absence of live theater, the Lancaster Opera House is bringing back theater of the mind in the form of weekly radio shows, or as they call them, Broadwa...y Brunch, starting at noon Sundays, beginning Oct. 4. Inspired by taking solace in old radio shows during quarantine, Lancaster Opera House Director David Bondrow envisions this can be somewhat of a new ritual for audiences. I talked about theater becoming a tradition and a ritual, and I think that’s what people love about it, Bondrow said. So, if we can create this every Sunday at noon, a little tradition and a little ritual, we are continuing that tradition.

Today our Honor Guard attended the annual 9/11 Memorial hosted by Russell Salvatore at his Patriots and Heroes Park. We would like to thank the organizers for the invitation to remember those who paid the ultimate sacrifice 19 years ago. It was our honor to be part of the tribute.
