Lowville and South Lewis school districts issued letters late this afternoon announcing they have decided NOT to initiate a precautionary extended closure at th...is time. Both districts announced previously that the idea was being considered to help slow the spread of COVID-19 cases in the county. The districts will continue to monitor the infection rates and adapt learning plans as needed.
