Originally the annual spring clean up was planned for April 25th, 2020. Due to the recent extension of the social distancing recommendations to April 30th, 2020... this gathering has been cancelled. People of the community are welcome to contribute to cleaning up the cemetery on their own in the mean time. Together little by little we can make a difference and have the cemetery looking as it should for the nicer weathered days. Thank you to all who have continued to support the cemetery. See more

Based on the governor’s order and NYS Division of Cemeteries position: Villenova Cemetery will continue to operate as an essential service under Governor Como’s executive order, New York State on PAUSE. If services cannot be postponed, the size of gatherings is limited to as few participants as possible (e.g. immediate family). The cemetery discourages out of town participants and maximizing social distancing among in-person attendees.
