Vinny's Barber Shop

16 years ago, right around this time, I was preparing to open Vinny’s Barbershop in Malta. Since then Malta has become my home, my family’s home. I have loved l...iving here, working here, and getting to know the amazing people that make up this incredible community. We’ve had a lot of great times together, and I thank you for that. But, as all of you know, these past few weeks have challenged us mentally, emotionally, and financially. Yesterday, we received news that Vinny’s Barbershop, per the Governor’s mandate, is being forced to temporarily close its doors. We know this is the right call in this new reality, but that doesn’t make it any easier. I liked to believe there was a pandemic happening everywhere except at Vinny’s Barbershop. Our customers continued to come through, and so many of you were grateful that we remained open. Vinny’s was the one place we could still get together, tell some jokes, talk sports, and forget about the bad news for a bit. Because of the successes we experienced together at our flagship location in Malta, I was able to open a Vinny’s Barbershop branch in both Saratoga and Queensbury. It has been an honor and privilege to be part of these beautiful communities as well. To our customers, I say this: you are family! We appreciate everything you’ve done for us. Although today’s news is discouraging, I promise to reopen all three branches of Vinny’s Barbershop as soon as possible. I’m hurting. You’re hurting. We’re all hurting. But we will get through this. To our Valued customers, We are doing everything we can to stay open for ourselves as well as for you. With the Government recommending that we avoid gatherings of 10 people or more we have decided to make some changes at the shop for the safety of everybody. We are now going to be appointment only. We also will be changing our hours to Tuesday-Saturday 9-5. We will now have the door locked so we don’t have too many people in here at once. Please show up to your appointmen...t at the time of your appointment. If your early if you could please wait in the car until a chair is empty. We are doing everything we can to stay open. Including sanitizing everything as often as we can. Also, if you feel any type of sickness please please cancel your appointment. We have people of all ages coming in here. We do not want to pass this along to someone who can not handle it. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. We appreciate your patience. We are trying to keep that Normalcy in a time of weirdness. The offer is still on the table for a free haircut if you have any financial hardness because of this. To our Valued Vinny’s customers, With the Coronavirus starting to become a reality the closer it hits to our homes, we are asking that if you feel under the weather in anyway that you please think about rescheduling your appointment until you get well. We have customers of all ages that come into the shop. We have been taking extra precautionary acts to keep our shop as safe and as clean as we can for our clients and barbers. We have no intentions on closing the barber shop ...at this time. So please help us protect the shop and other customers the best you can.
