So this is eye opening but not a surprise - according to NYS data restaurants account for 1.4% of the Coronavirus spread. We have been asking for this information for weeks since the imposition of curfews and other restrictions kicked in on November 13th. This is great news for folks who have been supporting their local businesses for indoor dining either inside the restaurants or in outdoor tents. This information confirms the fact that the small business community has b...een adapting and operating in a safe manner. We heard information earlier in the week that gym and salons have very low rates of spread as well. Sad that good news like this is not presented regularly. Please continue to shop local. NYS is offering legal assistance to small businesses that need to negotiate with their landlords. This service is likely useful as the eviction moratorium is about to end at the close of this year. Check out the story in LI Business News..... https://libn.com//state-offers-legal-help-to-small-busin/
