It's a shame that some people see a national crisis and try to scam others... From the U.S. Treasury website: COVID-19 SCAMS If you receive calls, emails, or other communications claiming to be from the Treasury Department and offering COVID-19 related grants or stimulus payments in exchange for personal financial information, or an advance fee, or charge of any kind, including the purchase of gift cards, please do not respond. These are scams. Please contact the FBI at www....ic3.gov so that the scammers can be tracked and stopped. Fraud involving payment of Federal taxes should be reported to the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration.

It has come to our attention that due to recent business interruptions and health concerns, the IRS has issued a "90 day Grace Period" for tax payments, extending the "payment due date" to July 15th, 2020. PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT ALTHOUGH THIS PAYMENT DUE DATE FOR INDIVIDUALS AND C-CORPORATIONS HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO JULY 15TH, THE DEADLINE TO FILE YOUR TAX RETURNS HAS NOT CHANGED, AND IS STILL APRIL 15TH. Also as of the time of this post, according to the New York State website: NO DUE DATES OR PAYMENT DATES HAVE CHANGED FOR NEW YORK STATE, AND IS STILL APRIL 15th, 2020.
