Commemorating the end of slavery in the United States, Juneteenth, now recognized as a federal holiday, takes place each year on June 19. Tomorrow, take part in two Juneteenth events happening in our county. First, join the Genesee Country Village & Museum to honor the day by learning about the lives of Black Americans living in Western New York at the time of emancipation. This Father's Day Weekend, head over to the Western New York Gas and Steam Engine Association grounds for a good old-fashioned Tractor Pull! The gates of the grounds will open at 8am, with the deadweight pull starting at 9am and stock pull at noon. 4-wheel drive trucks will also be on the grounds, with food and drink available for purchase all day.
