UPDATE || Things are changing quickly and the Visualeyes team is doing our best to stay on top of this quickly moving landscape. What that means for our clients and patients is that we will once again need to reduce our Main Street store hours and close our Elmwood Avenue location. This week our Main Street location will remain open Tuesday and Wednesday from 10:00 AM - 3:00 PM exclusively for pick up on existing jobs, glasses, contacts AND by appointment only. After Wednes...day, March 25th, if you have any eye health problems, glasses or contact lense issues, please call the office, email us at either location, or message us on social media. We will get back to you and schedule an appointment if needed. As always, we are here for you and are working diligently to make sure our clients have access to their needs in a way that puts our team's and community's well-being first.
As a family-run business, we have always known the true value of community support. With your help we have been able to build something special at Visualeyes. We also know the importance of keeping our community safe. With heavy hearts, and to join the efforts of other small businesses to flatten the curve, we are drastically reducing store hours and canceling all eye appointments. Like all of you, we are continuing to stay informed and better understand what the long term ...implications that Covid-19 will have our us and our community. In honoring the guidelines we were given, we are reducing staff and store hours effective 3/23. Main Street: Mon, Tues, Wed, & Fri : 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM, Sat 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM, (Closed Thursday). Elmwood Ave: Mon - Closed, Tues - Fri : 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Sat 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM. Our Doctor, Ian Leberer has canceled Eye Exam appointments until further notice with growing health concerns. He is very aware of the need to limit physical interactions, and his commit remains to his patients. If you have any questions or concerns regarding your eye health, please call the office. While we must, for the time being, remain distant, we do not have to be isolated. Now more than ever, it is essential to reach out and connect with your loved ones, near and far. You're are not alone; we here and we will remain here, whether our shop doors are open or closed. Please reach out with any questions or concerns about the information above. Be safe and we will see you when this all passes over.

Eighteen years ago today, under blue skies, the unimaginable happened. The day that shook the world. No matter where you were, the terrorist attacks of 9/11 made it a day filled with horror and all kinds of emotions. Today let us honor those who were killed, the families who lost them, those who made the ultimate sacrifice to risk their lives to save others and all the people that were injured never to be the same. #letsneverforget #911
The Visualeyes family has suffered a tragic loss. Justin Waclawek, Dave Leberer’s nephew, describes his wife Alison R. Waclawek as a brilliant, kind and loving woman dedicated to helping others. Dr. Waclawek, known as "Ali," died while giving birth to their daughter Ada on Aug. 16 at Sisters Hospital. The Main St location will be closed this Saturday so family and staff can attend Alison’s funeral. Our Elmwood location will be open from 10-5pm. For those looking to help in this time of need, please follow the Gofundme link in our bio. Thank you.
Due to summertime engagements, being short staffed and Dan can’t get off the island! Our Main St location will be closed tomorrow, Saturday 7/20 but our Elmwood store will be opened 10-5pm. We are sorry for any inconvenience and thank you for understanding. #summertime
Have you seen the newest mural on Elmwood Ave? We are so happy to have the incredible work of eRic Luplow become part of our Elmwood Ave storefront. After a chance encounter with the guys from @Bureaumade in New Mexico, eRic Luplow returned to Buffalo (originally from Batavia) to add to Buffalo's growing collection of murals. The inspiration behind Yellow Dog - a cosmic trip into the universe that resulted in the further bonding of comrades, the start of new friendships, and... a daily reminder that the entire trip was not a dream after all. .Check out the whole story behind it all in Buffalo Rising. https://www.buffalorising.com//mural-alert-yellow-dog-is-/ . . . . . . . #BuffaloNY #Elmwoodstrip #PublicArt #Mural #Elmwoodave #VisualEyes #travelinspo #Art #YellowDog See more
