REOPENING UPDATE: Massage has FINALLY been officially listed as reopening Phase 3. We anticipate opening when that begins or shortly after as we must prepare and have equipment to follow NY State Guidelines. Your health and the health of our staff will be at the absolute forefront. We are now officially open! We have implemented cleaning and safety procedures to still provide extremely effective Medical and Therapeutic Massage and Manual Therapy. There has been confusion about when Licensed Massage Therapists should be able to reopen. Currently it’s still not decided because NY State has misclassified LMTs during this pandemic. Here in NY we work hard for our knowledge, certification and keeping up with changing medical advancements. We are health professionals and we deserve the right to reopen, along with other health professionals currently open and those opening in phase 2. Here at Vitality we specialize in medical massage and work in an almost exclusive clinical style setting. Health and Safety These are stressful times and as we all know stress leads to pain, both of which need to be relieved. This is what we’re experts in! We are very aware of the need to provide a clean and safe environment. We have always taken the necessary steps to sanitize our treatment room and office space for the health and safety of all our patients.... During this time, rest assured and expect from us our commitment to the health and safety of everyone. We will continue to repeatedly clean all shared surfaces with CDC approved disinfectants in our treatment room and common areas in between every single patient. Surfaces will be sprayed and wiped with these approved sanitizing products. All linens are washed with disinfecting bleach and detergents after each single use as always. We ask of you, the patient to do the following: Stay home if you or someone in your household is not feeling well. Please contact us at your earliest convenience to reschedule at a designated time of up to 14 days. Please wash your hands and use hand sanitizer once in our building.
