To Our Guests, We are thrilled to announce that we will be reopening for outdoor dining on Friday, August 7 at 5:00 PM. We will be offering dinner Thursday to Sunday for now. As we reopen, we will follow all guidelines and requirements. Hourly sanitization of all hard surfaces, chairs and door handles. Disposable paper menus will be used. All staff will be required to wear face masks during working hours. Our team will also be instructed if they are not feeling well or th...ey came in contact with anyone at risk, to stay home. We look forward to seeing everyone again very soon.

March 18, 2020 Dear Friends: As with all of you, we are feeling the pains of immediate shutdown per the Governor’s orders, and while as painful as this is for all of us, the alternative of more severe consequences is not one we wish to fathom.... I was watching a news broadcast last evening, and the commentator referenced John F. Kennedy’s Inauguration speech from 1961. America was on the brink of nuclear war with Russia. My parents (I miss them both so much) were newlyweds. In his speech from the very cold steps of the U.S. Capitol, John F. Kennedy said these immortal words, And so my fellow Americans: Ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country. We are being asked to remain at home as much as possible and limit contact with each other for a short period of time. Even limited contact in the present day is different than it was in 1961. We have the internet, cell phones, Skype, FaceTime, and a variety of social apps we use to see one another in real time. I sat in one of our locations this morning trying to gauge the new level of foot traffic so I can make a decision on staffing. I witnessed a young couple walk past clearly flirting, then holding hands, and then as they needed to go in different directions, a quick embrace and a kiss. It’s one of those things you see a hundred times a day in a city with 8.7 million people but it’s what I needed to see today, this morning. This time will pass; weddings will reschedule; corporate events will be rebooked, and people will go out to dinner again. We will triumph over the adversity of these times. In the coming days, you will see more frequent communication from Masterpiece Caterers in the form of emails, articles, and social media postings. We aren’t going anywhere, and we want you to know that. We are a pillar in this community strong and unwavering. If you need me for anything in the interim, please reach out directly. I’m here.
