So this beautiful new client of mine drove 45 minutes to Vonnleigh Esthetics which was super flattering and shocking at the same time . Now with that being said, I asked her why she drove so far for lash extensions. She said that she has experienced too many unsatisfying applications where her lashes would last less than a week at a time . No matter how many times she brought this to the lash technicians attention, she only received excuses after excuses. ... This is super frustrating to me because of how it can be very discouraging to clients who are super excited and trust the lash technician to provide quality service. Lash extensions should last 2 - 2-1/2 weeks before a fill is needed (which can vary depending on each individual BUT should last more than a week). I’ve had lash extensions that failed to stay on a clients lashes before and she was super disappointed. First I listened . Then apologized & I did whatever it took to ensure that I fixe this issue. I started by asking several questions to see what may have caused this to happen. I decided to order a different glue for her lashes in hopes that would help. Voila !! I had a happy client, which of course made me feel really good! There is NOTHING WRONG with owning up to your mistakes or taking ownership even if it had nothing to do with your application. My priority is to make EVERY SINGLE client feel there best, feel confident, and feel comfortable enough to approach me if they aren’t happy.
