We need some more sunshine

We have received several calls about a large white 4 door Chevy pickup with trailer, going around Meco and other areas of the Town of Johnstown, claiming to be ...blacktoppers with extra blacktop to cover driveways. As best we can determine these are not local individuals known to us. They have been approaching multiple homeowners, mostly seniors. The complaints have indicated that these individuals conduct has become belligerent and hostile at times. If you encounter these individuals please call the Sheriff's Office at 736-2100. Do not give these individuals any money until you can determine that they are legitimate.
