A NOTE FROM JOE Dear All - It's hot, again! We've had two close calls with heat stroke so far this year. I'm making a strong suggestion that you:... 1. come early or late, but not during the heat of the day 2. bring water and drink frequently 3. use the hose to cool down - Rosa and kids have been having a very good time with it 4. buddy up - having help makes the chores go quicker When the temp is above 95, which is forecast, I'd like you all to refrain from being out in the garden at all. Be cool, and be safe. Joe

Greetings Gardeners. By now you should be well into planting for this season. With the pandemic happening, many of us were uncertain whether or not we would plant a garden this year. Well I guess we made our decision since once again, all plots have been spoken for. Some of you may have seen our new garden guests. Well, maybe not IN WACG exactly but in Ward Acres Park, a beautiful deer and her fawn have been spotted out and about in Ward Acres. If you haven’t seen them not, to worry. Hisashi Hariya was able to take a short video of mom & child, and Joe was able to get a still of the resting fawn. Enjoy.
