NEW 4-H Program Series..."THE WHOLE KIT & KABOODLE" The term the whole kit and caboodle dates to the 1800s and means the complete package or the whole shebang. ... We know you may not be interested in all of these activities, so you should register for the weeks you are interested in. We will have a maximum of 20 youth per program. Once registered, we will distribute kit supplies to registrants. Each registrant will also get a few 4-H swag items. Kits will include the basic materials of a recipe or a project that you will need. Obviously, we will not include anything perishable like milk, eggs, butter. For example, the fire-starting, we will include tinder, kindling, and fuel, but we will not include an ignition source. TIME'S FIRST EVER KID OF THE YEAR IS A 4-H'ER

The number of products grown or produced in New York is amazing! Get your students thinking about the agriculture around them by creating icons for our Agricult...ure Art Contest. The winning icons will be featured on a digital commodity map to be shared in Spring 2021. The winning artist receives a prize pack, and the sponsoring teacher can earn a Tower Garden for their classroom. Attention 4-Her’s...did you know that we offer scholarships? Details: Applicants must be a current, active, graduating Warren County 4-H’er. Must have participated in the 4-H Public Presentation Program for the last three consecutive years, including the present year. Must submit application by April 2, 2021. Maximum of $500 will be awarded from the 4-H Designated Fund. This scholarship is based on the overall 4-H involvement of the applicant.... Deadline: Applications must be received in the Cornell Cooperative Extension Education Center by April 2, 2021. Interested graduating seniors should contact the CCE office at 668-4881 or 623-3291 for more information ASAP.
