The regular monthly meeting for the month of October has been cancelled due to the virus. Stay safe everyone!

Today is National POW-MIA Recognition Day. All Americans should never forget the brave men and women who answered our nation’s call and served the cause of freedom and today we reflect on those whose whereabouts are still unknown. Amid these difficult times, and having just reflected upon 9-11, this is yet another somber moment to consider. But it is all part of the fabric that makes us Americans. The number of Americans still missing and unaccounted for from the Vietnam War is 1,586.

Post 214's annual flag retirement ceremony will take place behind the Legion Headquarters on Wednesday, September 9th at 5pm. Set up will begin at 4pm. There will not be a regular monthly meeting following the ceremony. To all those who wish to participate, masks must be worn. Hope to see many of you there!
