Ok Ghouls & Boos, here it is... TOP 10 THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT WITCHINGTONVILLE! 1. Our event begins at 1:30pm with a Sensory Friendly Trunk or Treat. Trunk or t...reat will open for all little monsters from 2pm-5pm and will require a bracelet for entry. We are asking for a monetary donation of your choice to receive a bracelet. 2. There are only 1,000 bracelets for trunk or treat with a 30-minute time slot for entry into the lot, we ask that your boos and ghouls only take 1 item per trunk so everyone can get something. There is no need to line up prior to your time slot (if you come 10-15 minutes into your allotted time, you will not wait, believe us this is not a trick!!) 3. If you are participating as a TRUNK in the trunk or treat, please arrive to the Vern Allen Park parking lot entrance across from Decker Drive between 12-1pm with ample time to setup for our 1:30pm sensory friendly start. We do have a prize for the spookiest trunk!!! You will be allowed to leave after 5pm from the parking lot exit nearest to Newcastle Drive. 4. We are introducing 2 new wicked attractions this year, a rock-climbing wall and a Eurobounce trampoline! $10 gets you unlimited rides on either, we will not split admission for one or the other. 5. Our $2 hayride is back, but the route will be different, so please be on the lookout for things that go bump in the night. All proceeds will be donated to Wagon Wheel Farm towards their fight to save the farm. 6. Roads will be closed for safety. Ahern Blvd will be CLOSED from Revere Circle to the first corner of Decker Dr starting at 11am. Newcastle Dr and Decker Dr will be OPEN for traffic. WPD may temporarily close any of these streets when the event begins so we don’t have a MONSTER MASH! 7. Be sure to check out our new spooktacular photo stations and don’t forget the hashtag #witchingtonville2019, let’s see if we can start trending on Instagram! Tag us in your photos! 8. There will be plenty of food, treat and artisinal options for you to choose from, so eat, drink and be scary! 9. We have ghoulish games, witchy music and shows all day long OH MY!! Check out the full lineup of events here. 10. Please remember to be kind, be patient and be careful. Our event is completely volunteer-run and our first responders want to ensure everyone is safe and enjoying the event. What may seem like a nuisance is a necessary part of making sure everything goes spookily according to plan. We appreciate your cooperation and remembering that #ittakesavillage #andoursisthebest ..... ... .. . . . #hudsonvalleyevents #familyfun #hudsonvalleyny #orangecountyny #washingtonvilleny #halloweenfun #spooktacular #washingtonvilleevents #hudsonvalleyparent #hudsonvalleykids
