We learned last night that Keith Yizar, a board member of the Washingtonville Housing Alliance, passed away. He was beloved in the Mamaroneck community as an educator and a mentor, and he was committed to service for the common good. Tom Murphy Mayor of Mamaroneck wrote, "I am extremely sad to hear of the passing of Keith Yizar. He was a pillar of this community. He helped hundreds of kids through his work at Mamaroneck High School and through his volunteering efforts over the decades. He will be sorely missed but always remembered as a great man and an honored citizen of Mamaroneck." We extend our condolences to the Yizar family, and to all those whose lives were touched by Keith.

Our Summer Club ended too quickly this year! We had a fabulous group of kids and we really didn’t want the magic of summer to end! We made many new friends and the countless smiles from the kids, who kept us going strong all summer long. Thank you to Tami Burks, Cristina Diaz, and Gloria Welcome for giving their best to the kids and the community.
