It's fly season again and after seeing many posts of these masks I feel the need to share my story. These looked great and I got them for my horses. They fit we...ll and were easy on and off but my stallion kept getting it turned on his head and looked like cyclops. He could see and there was no event so I'd just go fix it. My older, usually steady Eddie senior gelding had a different situation. He got his turned to where he couldn't see and started to panic and run in his pasture. Luckily I was there and saw it. He did stop when I called to him and I was able to get it off before a wreck. The lycra fabric is super stretchy so even with a good fit they can get them turned by rolling or rubbing their face. They're great for riding outside under a bridle but I won't use them for turnout anymore. I'm so glad to have been there when my gelding had an issue and I was able to get it off. The other fly masks can turn as well but are more all mesh and they can still see. I was excited about these masks until my experience and I dont want anyone having this experience and a wreck.
