WCCC Youth Group

We have decided on the details for our drive-in service to be held next Sunday, May 24th at 2pm. We are holding this service at 2 pm becasue we are still awaiti...ng our FM transmitter we purchased to arrive. Eventually as we hold more services we will hold them at the normal 10:30 slot, but for this week we are borrowing Turnpike Wesleyan's FM transmitter and they will be using theirs in the morning. Here is the What you need to know for next Sunday. 1. We will live stream the service on Facebook still, at 2 pm 2. When you arrive park facing the fellowship hall and parsonage. We will be preaching and leading songs from there. 3. Tune your car radio to 107.5 FM 4. You do not need to wear a mask in your car. However we ask you stay in your car and leave your windows up. There will be no bathrooms available. (sorry) The service will last around 30 minutes. 5. An usher with a mask will have song sheets to pass out to you so you can sing along with the music. 6. No offering will be taken. If you want to leave an offering in the mailbox of the church we can give instructions as to its location. 7. Please text or email me any prayer requests in advance. 8. Since we live in a residential neighborhood we are trying to keep honking at a minimum (we probably will do a special honk at the beginning though!) :) 9. This is sort of a test run to see if we want to do more of these in the future. 10. As we do these expect changes as we learn and get better equipment. 11. We are not sure what Phase we will be in to open for in-person worship services. When we do open things like social distancing and cleaning and service times and possibly even masks may all be part of what we are required to do. We do know right now we can not meet in-person with more than 10 people, which just isn't feasible to do. Perhaps as things open up we will be able to meet. We have prayed about and talked about several options, so we will keep you up to date. We are open to some suggestions, given with the right spirit. We also welcome positive feedback! My internet is fading in the snowstorm, so I am concerned I will not have internet tomorrow morning. Looking at the forecast and seeing the large snowfalls, hig...h winds and frigid weather, we are canceling all services tomorrow. I encourage you take time and have devotions yourself. Tomorrow is our Annual Fall Festival starting at 2 pm. The weather report looks great! We have inflatables coming, a hayride set up, games ready and a fun science show at 3:30. Volunteers and donations of cookies, donuts, cupcakes and apple cider are still asked to be there by 1:30! Praying for safety and fun as we seek to be a positive influence in our community.
