We are so excited to have partnered with Nancy Ann Coyne, the artist behind Speaking of Homethe first art installation in St. Paul’s public skyways! Check out this gorgeous write up from My Modern Met. On display are 58 larger-than-life photographs of first-generation immigrants from over 50 countries around the world, who now call the Twin Cities home. The photographs are accompanied with biographies on plexiglass silk-screened text panels, which share individual immigrants’ stories of coming to the U.S., a timeline of their lives and journey, and the word home translated into their native language. Oh, and if you happen to be at the upcoming AIGA / AIGA Eye on Design conferences, check out the installation! Located in four pedestrian bridges between 6th & Minnesota Streets in downtown St. Paul.
