Wellsprings Is Now Open Dear Wellsprings Massage Therapy community, I hope this finds you and your family in good health. While many things have changed, one thing remains the same: my commitment to your safety, health, and well-being.... By its very nature, massage and bodywork requires skin-to-skin contact and you should be familiar with the fact that infection control has always been a top priority for my practice. As we navigate life with additional requirements and modify existing measures due to the coronavirus, please help me to support all of my clients by cooperating with some new requirements. My practice follows Practice Guidelines recommended by the Federation of State Massage Therapy Boards (GSMTB), along with infection control recommendations made by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). You may see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. I made these changes to help protect my clients and myself. For example: 1) I will communicate with you beforehand to obtain updates to your health information and ask you specifically about your potential exposure to Covid-19. 2) When you arrive at the office, I'll ask that you wait in your vehicle or outside in the sitting area until I text you, call you or greet you outside. This ensures that we do not have too many people in the reception area at one time. 3) I'll ask you if you have developed any symptoms of illness since your last visit. If you are not feeling well, for any reason, I do ask that you reschedule your appointment. There will be NO cancelation penalty as this is looking out for everyone's well being. 4) Please bring a face mask to use while you are in the building, and during your massage. 5) There is a hand sanitizer in the reception area and other places in the office for you to use when you enter the office and when you leave. Please wash your hands in the bathroom when you go to change and get on the massage table for your session. 6) Due to all linens and table coverings being changed and sanitized between each client, I am asking that the men wear gym shorts during their massage. The table will only have sheets with a washable cover over the table warmer. There will not be any blankets at this time. Updates due to COVID-19 for Wellsprings Massage Therapy Dear Wellsprings Massage Therapy Friends and Family, I am sending out this email to keep everyone up to date. While information is unclear, I still feel it necessary to keep in touch. ... At this time Massage Therapy is either phase 3 or 4 and it has not been made clear to which massage therapy falls in. The dates for reopening for phase 3 would seem to fall on or around June 12th if all goes well. Dates for reopening for phase 4 would seem to fall on or around June 26th. With that said I am letting you know that any appointments that fall before June 12th will be canceled, which you will get a notice of, and can be rescheduled by using the online service provided. Due to requirements known today, there will be changes in the office. It will pertain to the waiting room, washing of hands, masks being worn, gloves used during our session, and table set up. I will be asking that only the individual coming for the massage come to the appointment to help with social distancing. If I am not in phase 3, I am more than likely not going to find out till close to or on June 12th. Therefore, any appointments made for the two weeks between June 12 and June 26th will at that time have to be rescheduled again. As soon as I know, I will let you know. You are all in my thoughts and prayers, and I look forward to seeing each of you soon. For now, we are to take one day at a time, hold things loosely, keep our eyes on Jesus, and put our trust in the God who holds all things in the palm of His hands. God is faithful and He is love. I could send you a CDC link but I believe we have enough of that circulating. So, my suggestion is to you as well as to myself. Celebratine Spring 2017

Sunny Rochester!! If you are out enjoying the sun a little to long and find yourself looking like a lobster. Lavender is a great essential oil for the skin that will help relieve the pain. Mix it with fractionated coconut oil and apply. Or add some aloe Vera Juice and vitamin E to enhance even further. I believe I have seen Aloe Vera Juice at Price Rite in Southtown plaza, if you decide to make this. Keep us posted and enjoy this gift of a day in July.

July is Luminous Lavender at Wellsprings Massage. Lavender is a well known multipurpose essential oil.
