What a beautiful day at the Wasp Nest. We definitely took advantage of the fine weather. Caterina Persons age 10, showed off her flying skills to her new found friend, David Pratt. She hasn’t flown in over a year and once the nerves settled and the cobwebs cleared she had three phenomenal flights. Rick Fitch, Club president, burned up some ozones with his Eaglet. While Bob Armstrong did some crop dusting with his Eflite Tractor. Joe Persons took his turn on the Tractor then flew the GT Trainer with David, as his co pilot. Benjamin Kirk cruised the skies with his Japanese Zero looking for Allied aircraft to challenge. All in all what an awesome way to finish a flying season.

Well its sad to say, another flying season is drawing to a close. 2020 was year of unexpected surprises. The Covid Pandemic was the blue ribbon winner for the unexpected. The lockdown and cancellation of events and fundraisers were the biggest culprits. We certainly have missed seeing our followers the most with these cancellations. Hopefully 2021 will bring joy and prosperity to all so that we may surpass this ugly year. ... We would like to thank all of our followers and supporters for sticking with us. Be sure to stay in touch over the winter months. Most of all stay safe and healthy. We’ll see y’all soon.
