We have been going to Ghana for the last 15 years teaching communities about health and bringing supplies. Being on the ground has taught us about the health care needs of the people. Although communicable diseases are still a problem, in recent years we have seen chronic diseases such as #hypertension and #diabetes cause major morbidity and morta...lity. These chronic conditions are also contributing to increased visual impairment and blindness. . . .
