Bishop Bickerton has requested that SPR Committees recognize February 8-10 as Bishop’s Convocation and clergy respite time. The goal is to ensure that NYAC cler...gy set aside a small block to time to create balance, while focusing on self-care and overall wellness. We'll also provide a pre-recorded Respite Worship Service for NYAC churches to use on Sunday, February 14. We want this to be stress-free time! That said, THERE IS NO NEED TO REGISTER FOR THE 2021 BISHOP'S CONVOCATION. You can also choose to take advantage of as many (or as few) of the worship experiences, devotional prompts and resources we'll make available as you'd like. Just be sure to set aside the time for self-care! We do need to keep track of participants for the live Q@A with Bishop Bickerton on Wednesday, Feb 10 at 2:30-3:30 via Zoom. Our weekly worship!

For the next 2 Sundays, Nov 22 and Nov 29, our church worship service will be virtual. Pastor Melanie will post the worship service on Sunday 10:15 am to West Hills facebook page and youtube. The service can be viewed at 10:15 am or any time after, similarly to how we previously did worship service through the spring and summer. The church building will be closed. On Nov 29 we will reassess the worship service for the month of December.... Our prayers are with Pastor Melanie and her family, as Pastor quarantines prior to her surgery and her mom recuperates from knee surgery. Please continue your faithful giving via mail, as you have done for the previous months! Have a blessed, healthy, and safe thanksgiving.
