Hello Community! Catskill Wheelhouse has some announcements to make! Since our childcare program closed last fall, we’ve been working on developing our plans for the next five years. We are now ready to announce them! ... We are working towards opening several different programs that serve kids and families in different ways. Kids are going to say "no" ...for lots of reasons: they're not ready, they're tired, they're overstimulated, they're upset, they're just being kids, etc. How we react in those moments can not only protect our relationships, but it can also teach vital skills. Such a great session of Pandemic Pods for the People today! Our 8-10’s learned about rod puppets, then began creating their own, from African warriors to queens. Our 5-7’s learned about Monet, then created their own artwork inspired by him and our river view. Oh, and also a mask with a nose, a scar, and a piece of its brain on its face!
