As the holiday season comes upon us, we wanted to remind everyone about the holiday recycling. Oneida Herkimer will be recycling the following: FLATTENED WRAPPING PAPER rinsed out aluminum trays... normal cardboard Any normal recycling materials ITEMS NOT RECYCLABLE: WADDED UP WRAPPING PAPER STYROFOAM BOWS, RIBBONS CARDBOARD TUBES FROM WRAPPING PAPER WREATHS PLASTIC BAGS CARDBOARD FROM SODA & BEER (WAX COATED) STRING LIGHTS If not sure if recyclable go to ohswa.org and use the "How do I recycle". Type in what you have and it will tell you if garbage or recyclable. We wish everyone a safe, happy, healthy Holiday season.

Holiday Schedule for Thanksgiving week: November 23rd through November 27th. No change in pick up for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Routes.... We will be moving the following routes ahead to Wednesday, November 25th. *Thursday #3, Frontload Thursday #1 and Frontload Thursday #2. Please all garbage and recycling out Tuesday night for Wednesday morning pick up. Thursday we are closed. HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL! The following routes will be done on Friday, November 27th: Thursday #1, #2, #4, #5. Friday #1, #2, Frontload #1, and Frontload #2. We will not be doing large item extra's this week as all personnel will be on routes. **Route number is listed on your account at trashbilling.com or on your bill in the location address.

We are NOT on holiday schedule. Columbus Day is not one of the six holidays we take off. Put your garbage and recycling out for normal pickup. If you missed your pickup for this week please hold it till next week and we will get it all cleaned up. Thank you.
