Employee Spotlight: Karen Makey Karen earned her Bachelor of Science from SUNY New Paltz . She has worked in the insurance industry since 1998, where she started underwriting at Merchants personal lines department. Karen went on to gain more experience with Philadelphia Insurance Companies in the role of a Marketing Representative. ... Today, Karen has been with the #GreeneTeam for 3.5 years as an Underwriter. In her free time, she enjoys golf , hiking , and cooking .

Employee Spotlight: Kyle Burch Kyle graduated from Northern Kentucky University with a B.A. in Journalism and Radio/Television. He is currently working towards his CIC designation. Kyle joined the #GreeneTeam just under five years ago as our Marketing Manager. Before his time at Greene, Kyle worked for two years as a Regional Business Manager for Maytronics, with the responsibility of managing the Northeast region and Eastern Canada. He also worked for seven years with Masc...o. First, as a District Field Representative and then as a National Training Lead. Kyle enjoys sporting events, spending time with family, reading, and running.

Employee Spotlight: Bob Dizer Following stints as a commercial lines underwriter (USF&G and CU) and surplus lines broker with several companies (Montgomery & Collins, Risk Placement Associates, Walker Special Risk), Bob was invited to Join the #GreeneTeam in 2002 and hasn’t looked back. Bob's contributed to the growth of Greene as a surplus lines broker and program underwriter. That growth has allowed Bob to settle in to the role of Underwriting our Excess/Umbrella programs ...as well as dealing with any Aviation business which comes our way. Bob is a CPCU and a past board member, as well as President, of the Insurance Club of Buffalo. He graduated from SUNY Fredonia with a degree in Elementary Education, a skill which came in handy while teaching parts of the NYS Brokers course and currently helps with training some of the new faces at Greene. Bob enjoys spending time at home on Lake Erie with his wife, children and grandchildren as well as taking an occasional fishing excursion or playing a round or two of golf.

Employee Spotlight: Danielle Hlibiczuk Danielle joined the #GreeneTeam in July 2018 as an Underwriter Assistant, and has recently been promoted to Associate Underwriter! She graduated with a BA degree in International Relations from Canisius College and is currently working on obtaining her ACSR designation. Danielle's work experience includes time at Travelers Insurance, First Niagara/Key Insurance & Hoffman Hanafin & Associates.... Danielle likes to camp in her free time and is on the hunt to purchase her first house.
