Is this still taught in public schools? Do you know who said this and when? Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal.... And this and when? IN THE NAME OF GOD, AMEN. We, whose names are underwritten, the Loyal Subjects of our dread Sovereign Lord King James, by the Grace of God, of Great Britain, France, and Ireland, King, Defender of the Faith, &c. Having undertaken for the Glory of God, and Advancement of the Christian Faith, and the Honor of our King and Country, a Voyage to plant the first Colony in the northern Parts of Virginia; Do by these Presents, solemnly and mutually, in the Presence of God and one another, covenant and combine ourselves together into a civil Body Politick, for our better Ordering and Preservation, and Furtherance of the Ends aforesaid: And by Virtue hereof do enact, constitute, and frame, such just and equal Laws, Ordinances, Acts, Constitutions, and Officers, from time to time, as shall be thought most meet and convenient for the general Good of the Colony; unto which we promise all due Submission and Obedience. IN WITNESS whereof we have hereunto subscribed our names at Cape-Cod the eleventh of November, in the Reign of our Sovereign Lord King James, of England, France, and Ireland, the eighteenth, and of Scotland the fifty-fourth, Anno Domini; 1620. The idea... that kings don't own the people but that the people may govern... And this? WE DECLARE, That all men are created equal; that they are endowed by their CREATOR with certain unalienable rights; that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness; that all power is inherent in the PEOPLE; and that all free governments are, and of right ought to be, founded on their authority, and instituted for their peace, safety, and well being. For the advancement of these ends, the PEOPLE have, at all times, an indefeasible right to alter and reform their government. All men shall be secured in the natural right to worship Almighty God, according to the dictates of their own consciences.

Does Gov't know best? In 1830, the Indian Removal Act brought about the Trail of Tears, leading to the forced relocation of more than 16,000 Native Americans. Roughly one out of four travelers lost their lives to starvation, disease, or the cold weather along the way.

DO we have Freedom of Speech or is political correctness destroying America. Are politicians more interested in preserving their power than doing the right thing for the country? The greatest threat to civil liberty is ourselves and big government. The Patriot Act allowed government agencies to eavesdrop on our conversations and break into our homes without a search warrant. The EPA can take land and impose fines without trial, with many documented cases of abuse by this a...gency. The IRS basically operates with impunity. Although the amendment to provide for an income tax was never passed by enough states to legally ratify it. Big Government has gotten too big and too intrusive in our lives. We need to take responsibility for ourselves and our families or the government will continue to grow and erode our civil liberties. Take back your power by taking personal responsibility. Please don't look for the government or anyone else to be ultimately responsible for your health or well being. Focus on what you can do, do not rely on or encourage big government restrictions. Practice the Golden Rule and have Faith. See more

We have a couple Thanksgiving Turkeys still available. We raise them on pasture and feed local organically grown grains plus garden excess. They weigh a little over 20 lbs and cost $5/lb.
