We're so proud to share our song Better Alone. We were 14 and 13 years old, respectively, when we wrote it. Collaborating on this is something we’ll remember for the rest of our lives. We spent a lot of time perfecting our idea of Glinda’s perspective. We’re so grateful to everyone who has opened doors for us, including the teams from WICKED, Situation, and A BroaderWay Foundation. If anyone would have told us a few years ago that LaChanze would be singing our song, we wo...uld never have believed them. But, here we are! To all of the 13 and 14 year-old girls who are writing music: take yourself seriously, and other people will do the same. Sit back and listen to Briana and Bianca’s Better Alone, a tale of an unrequited love in Oz, filmed and performed last year by Tony Award winner LaChanze.
In partnership with A BroaderWay Foundation, we’re thrillified for the upcoming release of our third and final Flying Free music video from our youngest songwriters yet. Hear Briana and Bianca reflect on how WICKED’s persevering story of friendship inspires even outside the walls of the Gershwin Theatre.
