For more than 25 years, through the power of partnerships, and passion of volunteers, the W!se Institute (referred to as W!se) has given New York City public high school students a strong foundation for college and career success. It’s a unique and flexible model that allows schools to provide their students with choice, variety in the school schedule and learning opportunities that enhance or reinforce instruction. Amazing role models lead seminars and provide real world e...xperiences. W!se makes a meaningful difference. It changes lives. 81% of W!se Institute students go on to college, compared to the New York City average of 62%. "By investing in students, you’re going to be investing in the future because you will be giving hope to generations moving forward." -Adiba Hussain, W!se Institue Alumna

For 25 years, QLI has motivated more than 30,000 high school students to be civic leaders and social entrepreneurs, while helping them develop skills for college and the workforce. These skills give students a competitive edge, especially during this challenging time. Participants research real-world community issues, develop and implement their innovative solutions and submit their projects to the QLI Scholarship Competition. Watch this video below to learn about the program...’s life changing impact! Through the power of QLI, students transform their communities. One group spearheaded a free SAT college prep program for more than 200,000 NYC low-income students. Another influenced the NYC Mayor to sign into law an anti-cyberbullying bill. In this 25th anniversary year, the winning students from Staten Island Technical High School created cybersecurity plans and student seminars! MORE THAN EVER, WE NEED YOUR HELP.
