Throwback ~ Look at this, a full classroom!! missing my cosmetology students and reflecting back with a new perspective on all we accomplished this year ! I am so proud of each and everyone of you ! You all offer something special and unique and I cannot wait to see all you will accomplish in your future careers . It is such a joy watching you learn how to do your first haircut and seeing your faces light up as you realize that you did it ! You all have such unique artistic... abilities and seeing all that you do sometimes even teaches me new skills . The board, oh the board... if you know me, that has a very special spot. Yup the skillsusa board sitting on our desk waiting to compete. So much work ! So much talent , thought , creativity and leadership ! I could not be prouder although it will not compete this year, I know what you did this year , I saw the sparkle in your eyes when you talked about it . This was a winning board ! No doubt . That will hang in the cosmetolgy department for many years to come! And lastly , the giving back ! This year we had the opportunity to give back and be a part of the shmd. Of everything that I teach, nothing is more important to me than this, helping others. You did this, cosmetology. Each of you gave your time time , your skills , so professionally and worked together as one . I could not ask for anything more. Outstanding year cosmetology ! Miss you all .
